Recent evidence has now confirmed that Parker Brothers opened their Chicago office in 1938 not 1940. As Parker Brothers used up existing older stock in new games, this set still uses 1937 rules, spencil sketch/caricature Chance and Community Chest cards, one board version that dropped Charles Darrow from the Jail square and 2 patents on the playing surface, Red celluloid lantern (10 metal playing pieces).
